It is a facility that has been rapidly improving and has been manufacturing products with state-of-the-art technology. 1000 bovine animals are bred in the facility, which is equipped with modern technology. All controls of the animals, which are bred with ultimate care, are undertaken in order to maintain the healthiest yield.
The animals are milked by the utilization of De Laval computer systems, without human touch. There is a modern milking shed with a capacity of 2 x 12. The animals are milked three times a day in this shed, and approximately 6 tons of milk is produced.
The bovine animals on the farm are of American and Swedish origin. Artificial insemination is made in order to pursue the purity of these animals. The feed of the animals are also manufactured in the feed plants under the structure of the company. In this way; the controls of the feeds that will be given to the animals are also made.
The slaughtering of the animals, which are constantly under health control, is also implemented under extreme hygienic conditions.
Lamb and goat are raised in the ovine breeding facilities that took its place as a support unit to Levent Food Company. Ovine animals, which are raised in healthy environments and fed with natural feedstuff, are presented to the consumers in the delicatessen departments of the markets.
Mera dairy work launched its activities in 2001. Latest Technology Equipment is imported from Denmark, Sweden and Turkey . Milk, yoghurt, hallumi, buttermilk, cheeses, fruit juices, yoghurts with fruits and ice-cream varieties are manufactured in the dairy work under extremely hygienic conditions.
The products are packaged with Tetrapak wrapping machinery, without human touch, before they are presented to the consumers.
Mera Dairy Work is awarded ISO 90001- 2000 and HACCP certification .
Drugless and natural products are produced in a closed area of 37000 m², 100 donum of open area and 300 donum of woodland. Levent Greenhousing improved rapidly in greenhousing, which it began 7 years ago; and today it is growing vegetables such as tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, broccoli, cucumber, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts, as well as 15000 fruit trees. Heat adjustments in the greenhouses are made by central heating; and humidity adjustment is maintained through modern fan systems.
All cultivation areas are equipped with weeping irrigation pipes in Levent Vegetable facilities that have an excellent infrastructure. Produced vegetables and fruits can be found in Lemar markets and in the whole market.
Taşkent poultry husbandry was put into service in 1999. In the support unit of Taşkent poultry husbandry; 2200 animals are slaughtered, divided into 28 different groups, and packed. The products are supplied for Lemar markets and the leading hotels of our island.
The egg department under the structure of Taşken Poultry Husbandry has a capacity of 40,000 chickens
Levent Animal Breeding and Taşkent Poultry Husbandry have been established as support units. Feedstuff needs of animal breeding and poultry husbandry are met from this facility.
The facility, which was established due to the inability of the current workshops in TRNC to meet the demands by the Group of Companies.
The imported materials are processed by the experienced technical staff, and prepared to be used in the places needed. In the facility; woodwork, aluminum joinery, double-glazing, electrostatic paint and wood paint shop are present.
8 mixing vehicles and 1 pump are present in the plant, and production dosages are BS18, BS20 and BS25.
Manufacturing is being made in the Levent Stone Breaking plant located in Alev Kayası.
In this facility they are separated as 3 types of pebble, sand, mechanical, wall stone, face stone and undersized stones.
Prepared stoned are used in our constructions and in mosaic manufacturing.
One of the support units of Levent Group of Companies is Lathe and Cold Iron plant.
In the plant; all seaming works, as well as water tanks, profile, wrought iron balcony banisters, water and cement silos, manholes, roof truss, steel construction and roofing, ceiling conveyor systems and sieves are made.
Levent Mosaic was established in 1986. It manufactures 50 types of mosaic in an area of 10 donums.
All stone requirements in mosaic manufacturing are provided by our own quarries.
Various paving stones, borders, concrete pipes and briquettes are manufactured in Levent Parquet Plant established in August 2005; and that are sold at the internal market.
The capacity of the plant, which gives service with its experienced staff, is 700 m² paving stones, 5000 borders, 100 concrete pipes, 30 concrete pipes for bores and 8000 briquettes.
Stonite Compose stone plant launched its activities in 2008, and it is established on a 4800 m² of closed area. The most important property of compose stone plant is that it is flexible so as to allow the user to chose between shining, dull, speckled models, as well as desired appearance, color and quantity. The product, which can be used to cover wide surfaces, is light, aesthetic and durable, and it also enables the designer to use his/her imagination without restraint.
It endures atmospheric conditions, and it is preferred due to the fact that it absorbs less water than most of the natural stones. Moreover; as this stone preserves its brightness for long years, does not need polishing, as well as its non-skid quality; special productions that can respond to the consumers’ demands are made.
In this facility 1800 ton stone is extracted per day; these stones are 3 types of pebble, sand, mechanical, wall stone, face stone and undersized stones.
70 employees are working for Levent Tile Plant, which launched its activities in 1994; and it still is the biggest tile manufacturing plant in TRNC.
Levent Tile, manufactures approximately 50,000 tiles (20 and 25 centimeters) in a day; and it responds to the needs of Levent Construction, as well as of the internal market.
The tiles manufactured in tile plant located in Haspolat are preferred because of their quality.
