Purchasing Manager

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- To organize all purchasing activities in accordance with the procurement regulations applied in North Cyprus,
- To conduct detailed cost and benchmarking analyses,
- To identify, evaluate and establish relationships with new and the existing suppliers to ensure a reliable and advantageous supply chain,
- To negotiate on terms, conditions and prices with vendors to secure the best value for the company,
- To develop and implement cost-efficient sourcing strategies and procurement policies,
- To work with other departments in order to understand and meet their exact material demands,
- To supervise and delegate tasks to the purchasing staff, including training and performance evaluation,
- Staying always updated on market trends, new products and potential changes,
- Communicate regularly with suppliers, subcontractors and group teams to follow up and resolve purchasing issues,
- To maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy
Requirements For the Position:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferably in Procurement, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or relevant,
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager for at least 7 years,
- Ability to analyse data and to manage purchasing budgets,
- Proficiency in MS Office programs,
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and in English
- Residing in or around Nicosia, Cyprus.
