Purchasing and Import Specialist

Responsibilities
- Create, track, and finalize domestic and international purchase orders, including import processes.
- Monitor the delivery process for all orders.
- Conduct import processes in accordance with legislation and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate customs procedures related to imports with a customs consultancy firm.
- Perform cost controls for import transactions and communicate them to the accounting department.
- Prepare periodic plans and reports on payments to suppliers.
- Inform suppliers of quality problems in imported products and follow up on improvement efforts.
- Prepare weekly and monthly import reports.
- Research alternative suppliers and obtain price quotes from them.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Logistics, Foreign Trade, Economics, etc.)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Proficient in Office applications and Logo software
- Able to take responsibility, with good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Well-developed job tracking, organization, and planning skills, with a focus on attention to detail and organized work, and open to development
- Experienced in managing import processes
- Experienced in customs documentation, international trade requirements, cost calculation, import planning, banking, and proforma invoices
- Fluent in English
- Compatible with the corporate culture and able to reflect our brand image
- Preferably a TRNC citizen
